The Skinner Shooter is constructed out of formed steel and is coated with a high durable black powder coated finish for long lasting use. The channel design is a heavy gauge steel design to support even the strongest of players at the Pro level. The unit is attached to the wall with a wall strap with adjustment points for 16” to 24” stud centers. Two heavy gauge steel brackets configure the system at the base into an “L” shape and secure it to the wall.
The block and pulleys are specially designed for each resistance band to run freely and smoothly supported by two ball bearings in each pulley. The stick blade strap is constructed of heavy belting material with a foam material on the inside to grip the blade and is quickly attached with industrial grade velcro. Quick attach snaps allow reconfiguring the unit from a high slap shot movement to a low wrist shot action.
Skinner Shooter Accessories

Specially designed resistance cords are offered in 4 different weight ranges:
Light (10 & under)
Standard (11-
12 yrs.),
Medium Duty (13-18 yrs), and
Intermediate (Pro).
Variable resistance comes through the concentric loading of the elastic cord - the greater the stretch, the
greater the resistance. The elastic properties of the cord are transferred directly into the muscles that are
opposing it. Free weights like barbells and dumbbells use gravity to develop resistance for your muscles to
overcome. Rhino Cords produce force as they are stretched providing the muscles with progressive resistance,
thus increasing your strength, muscular endurance, and quickness.
The coaxial construction provides for a protective sheath encapsulating a network of rubber bands
throughout the length of the cord. An example of the interior of the cord is shown. Each cord comes with a
specially designed ball stop for a secure and trouble fee attachment end.
The PowerSnapper fits on the shaft of the stick. It is secured to the shaft with carriage bolts and wing nuts making it easy to install and slide up and down the shaft. There are several eye bolt attachment points in order to vary the amount of resistance depending on the level of athlete or cord used. The PowerSnapper is the first wrist forearm device to allow the player to train with their own stick in the same setting as they would use their stick on the ice.
